Cycling in South Africa, Victoria Falls and Namibia

South Africa

There is no better way than to experience the scenic beauty of South Africa by bike. The choice of route options is vast. Choose from short, leisurely paced  rides in  unspoiled country side routes to serious races.  Tours are guided by experts and can last up to a week.

Cape Town’s favorites rides are a full day ride and hike combo through the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve,  or through one of the various vineyards and villages in the magnificently scenic Wine Valley.

The world’s biggest open ride race, the Cape Argus or Cape Town Cycle Tour is an extraordinary event.
The 68 mile route is completely closed to traffic. The circuit first uses 25 km of motorway, before running along the Atlantic Ocean towards the Cape of Good Hope, then coming back to the center of Cape Town along some of the most spectacular scenery the world has to offer. Riding together with more than 35,000 participants is a really unique experience that one must have seen to truly appreciate it.
It is listed in Natl. Geo Top 10 Cycle Routes. The next event will be held on 11 March 2018.
